Our Services
Our services are designed to support the whole person — mind, body, spirit, story, culture, and becoming — while helping clients move toward greater clarity, connection, confidence, and wellness in ways that honor their own rhythm and lived experience.
We intentionally support individuals, couples, families, groups, men and male-identifying clients, gender-expansive individuals, and communities seeking spaces to explore mental health, emotional expression, confidence, leadership, relationships, recovery, identity, fatherhood, family connection, and healing without shame.
Our services are designed to support the whole person — mind, body, spirit, story, culture, and becoming — while helping clients move toward greater clarity, connection, confidence, and wellness in ways that honor their own rhythm and lived experience.

Individual counseling offers a confidential, supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, experiences, patterns, relationships, faith, identity, and goals. This work may support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, stress, emotional regulation, self-worth, career concerns, family dynamics, spiritual concerns, health-related stress, medical stress, helping professional stress, communication, boundaries, and personal growth. KDC also offers perinatal and postpartum mental health, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), postpartum depression (PPD), postpartum anxiety (PPA), postpartum bipolar disorder (PPBD), birth trauma, and the identity and relational shifts of new parenthood.
-
KDC provides a welcoming, nonjudgmental space for clients navigating substance use, alcohol use, recovery, relapse concerns, and addictive behavior patterns. This includes support for substance and alcohol addiction, as well as other compulsive or addictive behaviors such as sex, shopping, working, exercising, gambling, technology use, and other patterns that may interfere with wellness, relationships, responsibilities, identity, emotional stability, or life satisfaction.
-
KDC is especially committed to creating space for men, including men of color, who may have been taught to carry pain silently, avoid vulnerability, or define strength only through survival, productivity, or control.
Men’s support may focus on mental health, identity, emotional expression, fatherhood, relationships, addiction and recovery, anger, grief, career stress, confidence, leadership, family connection, communication, and restoration.
Here, strength can also look like healing. Strength can look like asking for support, naming pain, restoring leadership, rebuilding confidence, reconnecting with family and community, and learning new ways to move through life with purpose, accountability, and integrity.
-
Couples, family, and group counseling provide opportunities for shared reflection, communication, connection, skill-building, and mutual support. These spaces may focus on emotional wellness, trust, relational conflict, parenting, intimacy concerns, family roles, self-worth, grief, stress management, relationships, life transitions, trauma healing, communication, boundaries, and personal growth.
-
KDC may support clients with life skills, daily functioning, and practical growth areas when clinically appropriate. This may include support with routines, organization, self-care, communication, time management, responsibility management, decision-making, independence, and activities of daily living or instrumental activities of daily living.
These supports are designed to help clients feel more stable, capable, confident, connected, and prepared to navigate everyday life.

These spaces may include discussion circles, wellness gatherings, creative reflection activities, community conversations, educational events, and future support spaces designed around community needs.
These offerings are rooted in the belief that healing happens not only in therapy rooms, but also in community, creativity, culture, rest, faith, relationship, and shared care.
